Quick healthy meals that take under 15 minutes?
I hate cooking. Like genuinely hate it. But I want to eat better. What are your fastest healthy meals that don't require actual cooking skills?
My lazy favorites:
- Greek yogurt + fruit + granola (2 min)
- Scrambled eggs + toast + avocado (5 min)
- Canned tuna + crackers + cherry tomatoes (3 min)
- Rotisserie chicken + bagged salad + dressing (2 min)
- Microwave sweet potato + black beans + salsa (8 min)
Microwave rice + canned chicken + hot sauce. Like 3 minutes. Not gourmet but it's food and it hits macros.
Smoothies! Throw frozen fruit, protein powder, spinach, and milk in a blender. 2 minutes. 400 cals, 30g protein, and it counts as vegetables because of the spinach (fight me).
Canned beans on toast with some spices. 5 minutes. Sounds boring but it's genuinely good with cumin, paprika, and a squeeze of lime.
Wraps! Tortilla + deli meat + cheese + veggies. Roll it up. Maybe 3 minutes. I eat like 4 of these a week.
The sweet potato + black beans + salsa combo is genius. Just tried it. 8 minutes, tastes great, and I didn't burn anything. This is my new go-to.
Overnight oats. Zero cooking. Oats + milk + protein powder in a jar. Put in fridge before bed. Eat in the morning. The laziest meal possible.
Omelets are fast once you get the hang of them. 3 eggs + whatever veggies/cheese you have. Under 10 minutes and like 25g protein.
