I have an insane sweet tooth that sabotages my diet every day. I need healthy alternatives to candy/cookies/ice cream that actually satisfy the craving. "Just eat an apple" doesn't cut it lol.

My sweet substitutes:

  • Frozen grapes (taste like candy)
  • Greek yogurt + honey + dark chocolate chips
  • Protein ice cream (Halo Top, Nick's, etc.)
  • Dates stuffed with peanut butter
  • Dark chocolate (85%+) — 2-3 squares
  • Frozen banana "nice cream" (blend frozen banana until creamy)

Chocolate protein shake made thick (less liquid) and eaten with a spoon = basically a chocolate mousse. Add PB powder and frozen banana for extra decadence. 200 cal, 35g protein.

Rice cakes with almond butter and a drizzle of honey. Crunchy, sweet, satisfying, and not a calorie bomb. My 3pm go-to.

Frozen yogurt bark: spread Greek yogurt on parchment, top with berries and chocolate chips, freeze. Break into pieces. It's basically dessert with protein.

Sugar-free Jello with whipped cream. Like 25 calories total. Doesn't feel healthy at all. That's the point.

Frozen grapes sound stupid simple but I just tried them and they're AMAZING. Like little popsicle bites. And the protein ice cream idea — Halo Top is surprisingly good for 300 cal per PINT.

Homemade protein balls: oats + protein powder + PB + honey + chocolate chips. Roll into balls. Keep in fridge. Each one is like a cookie but with 10g protein.

For the keto folks: whipped cream cheese + sugar-free pudding mix. Mix together. Basically cheesecake filling for like 100 cals per serving.
