"Anabolic" kitchen - high protein versions of junk food?
Who else makes "anabolic" versions of their favorite foods? I'm talking protein pizza, protein ice cream, protein pancakes. Share your best macro-friendly recreations!
Anabolic French toast: Egg whites + protein powder batter, dip thick bread, air fry. 40g protein per serving. Top with sugar-free syrup. Better than regular French toast imo.
Protein pancakes: 1 banana + 2 eggs + 1 scoop protein powder. Blend and cook like normal pancakes. 35g protein for the batch. Add blueberries in the batter.
Protein cookie dough: Greek yogurt + PB powder + protein powder + oats + chocolate chips. Eat raw (it's safe, no raw egg). Like 200 cal for a big scoop with 25g protein.
Not glamorous but: I wrap chicken breast in turkey bacon with low-fat cheese. Air fry. It's like a fast food chicken wrap but with insane macros. 55g protein, barely any fat.
Greek yogurt mixed with sugar-free pudding mix = instant pudding with 20g protein per serving. Try cheesecake flavor. You'll never buy actual pudding again.
"Protein fluff" — blend casein powder with ice and a tiny bit of milk until it expands into a huge fluffy bowl. Looks like 4 cups but it's only like 150 cal with 25g protein.
These are all gold. The protein French toast is going in my rotation immediately. My cut just got a lot more enjoyable.
Love this thread. Saving every single recipe. The protein cookie dough especially — I have such a cookie dough problem.
