High protein breakfast ideas that aren't just eggs?
I'm SO tired of eggs every morning. I need 40g+ protein at breakfast but I've run out of ideas. What are your go-to high protein breakfasts?
Protein smoothie bowl: blend protein powder + frozen berries + half banana thick. Top with granola and nuts. 40-50g protein depending on powder. Feels like dessert.
Greek yogurt (20g) + scoop of protein powder (25g) + berries. Stir together. 45g protein, tastes like pudding, takes 30 seconds. My daily breakfast.
Savory cottage cheese bowl: 1 cup cottage cheese (28g protein) + everything bagel seasoning + cherry tomatoes + cucumber. Sounds weird but it's addictive.
Protein oats! Regular oats + scoop of protein powder + PB. About 45g protein. I've eaten this every day for 2 years and somehow still not sick of it.
Breakfast burritos: make a batch on Sunday. Eggs + chicken sausage + beans + cheese + veggies in tortillas. Wrap individually and freeze. Microwave in 2 min. Each one is ~35g protein.
Leftover dinner. I eat chicken and rice for breakfast sometimes. There's no rule that says breakfast has to be "breakfast food." Steak and potatoes at 7am? Why not.
