Finally decided to start taking creatine after reading about it for months. Which brand should I get? I just want plain creatine monohydrate, nothing fancy.

Creatine monohydrate is creatine monohydrate. There's no meaningful difference between brands. Get the cheapest one that's third-party tested. Creapure is a trusted source ingredient if you want to be safe.

Agree. Don't pay extra for "creatine HCL" or "buffered creatine" or any fancy form. Monohydrate is the most studied and effective form. Period.

I use Bulk Supplements on Amazon. Literally just a bag of creatine monohydrate. Like $20 for 1kg which lasts months. No flavoring, no BS.

Thorne, Nutricost, or Bulk Supplements. All third-party tested, all cheap. Don't overthink it.

If your pre-workout already has 5g creatine, you don't need to buy it separately. Check the label.

Creatine is the most well-studied and effective supplement that exists. Safe, cheap, works. 3-5g daily, every day (no need to "load" despite what some people say). Welcome to the club.

Awesome, ordering Nutricost monohydrate tonight. Love that this is one of the few supplements where the science is clear and the answer is simple.

Just mix it in your water or shake. It's tasteless. Don't buy the flavored versions — they just charge more for artificial sweeteners.
